Teruyuki is an Associate at Ryan Swanson where he is a business advisor and litigation advocate. He works as a team member with multiple practice groups including the Banking, Employment and Litigation groups.  Teru is experienced in motion practice before state and federal courts, advising clients on matters relating to debtor and creditor law relating to collections, executions on judgments and evictions, as well as addressing matters involving e-discovery.

Teru has worked with banks and commercial creditors relating to commercial and residential evictions; collection matters including state and federal actions, garnishments, prejudgment attachments, debtors examinations and receiverships; and dealing with insolvent debtors and bankruptcy claims and litigation involving secured transactions and the Uniform Commercial Code.

Prior to joining Ryan Swanson, Teru was a Research Assistant at the Seattle University School of Law, a Civil Litigation Extern at the King County Prosecutor’s Office and a parent/student liaison for Santa Clara University.

In his free time, Teru enjoys playing golf, poker and skiing.  He also likes water sports and fly-fishing.
