Susan has a busy and varied litigation practice. About half of her practice involves employment law. This work includes reviewing employment policies and manuals, as well as defending employers against charges of discrimination, wrongful termination, failure to pay for overtime and other employment-related wrongdoing.

James E. Hadley

Jay is a veteran business lawyer. His practice involves business planning for a wide variety of clients, including companies with offices in Europe and Asia. He frequently represents clients in complex business transactions and serves as advisor to high net worth individuals on acquisitions and other business investments. Jay has particular experience in contract drafting and interpretation issues, including preparing complex purchase and sale agreements, financial and legal due diligence analysis, and business strategies development. He has been lead attorney for transactions in internet, technology, telephone, manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, automobile dealership and other business sectors. Jay is also experienced in development matters, including construction contracts for Multiuser Facilities, apartment buildings, hotels, warehouse and office park facilities, highrise buildings and even the original Washington State Convention and Trade Center.
